Air Canada Posts Loss In Q2; July System Traffic Rises 10.8% - Update

Air Canada reported Thursday a loss in its second quarter, compared to prior year’s profit, mainly reflecting foreign exchange losses compared to a significant gain last year and higher expenses. Revenue for the quarter increased from last year on higher traffic and capacity. The Canadian airline also reported higher System traffic and capacity for the month of July.
